Since its founding in 2005, PT. Pengembangan Jaya Papua has grown into a workforce of 968 people, delivering catering and manpower services across Papua and preparing as many as 12,000 meals a day for the industrial sites and communities it serves. Operating at that scale, day after day, calls for food safety and quality systems that hold up under pressure — which is why PJP holds five formal certifications covering quality, food safety, occupational health & safety, environmental management, and halal compliance.

BPJPHHALALCERTIFIED

Halal Certificate

Issued by BPJPH (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal), Indonesia's Halal Product Assurance Agency — formal recognition of the halal status of PJP's food products.

PJP's certified food safety practices
Certified food safety and quality management practices at PJP.

In practice, that means clear standard operating procedures for food handling, storage and preparation, alongside daily safety briefings, strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, cross-contamination prevention, and start-to-end monitoring of every production run. Water samples are tested periodically, and nutrition standards are measured, not assumed.

PJP's approach also extends to its people: regular staff audits and training, both internal and external inspections, technical and non-technical skills development, and a structured employee performance evaluation process. The goal is straightforward — every meal served, whether at a highland camp or for an in-flight catering client, should meet the same consistent standard of safety and quality.

PJP quality checks
Quality checks are a routine part of PJP's daily catering operations.

This commitment to certified quality management isn't a one-time achievement but an ongoing discipline, reviewed and reinforced as PJP's operations continue to grow. It underpins the trust the company has built with clients across Papua's industrial, aviation, and events sectors over nearly two decades of service.
